Prof. Albert Chan says, ‘To benefit the construction industry, PolyU is very happy to grant the Construction Industry Council the license to manufacture the anti-heat stress clothing at a nominal charge of HK$1.’
Meanwhile,in December2016,PolyU will be joining the Business of Intellectual Property Asia Forum(BIP Asia)which is jointly organized by the Government of the HKSAR, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the Hong Kong Design Centre.In the forum, this award-winning research project‘Anti-heat Stress Clothing for Construction Workers in Hot and Humid Weather’ will be shared as a successful case study with IP professionals and business leaders from all over the world.
The above knowledge transfer is one of the shining examples of realizing the University’s motto ‘To learn and to apply, for the benefit of mankind’.
