BRE Students Winning the HKIS Outstanding Final Year Dissertation Awards for Undergraduate Students (2018)

In the Outstanding Final Year Dissertation Awards for Undergraduate Students (2018) organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS), two alumni of the Department of Building and Real Estate (BRE) of PolyU were rewarded for their final year dissertations announced on 13 December 2018. A total of 1 full-time student and 1 part-time student from the BSc(Hons) in Surveying programme won 2 Second Awards.

The purposes of the Awards are to promote research amongst our future surveyors and to reward the efforts of the students. The Awards selection was done on merits in research as well as its applicability to the Surveying profession. Each winner received an award certificate and a prize cheque of HK$1,000 (Second Award) at the HKIS Outstanding Dissertation/Thesis Awards Presentation Ceremony and Cocktail Reception 2018 held on Wednesday, 5 June 2019 at the Royal Plaza Hotel, Mongkok, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
