Dr Sumei Wang obtained BEng in Civil Engineering from Hebei University in 2013 and PhD in Civil Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2018. She worked as a postdoctoral fellow at PolyU from 2019 to 2021. Dr Wang’s main research interests include structural health monitoring, structural dynamics and control, interaction of train-track-bridge system, dynamic analysis of high-speed railway and maglev, vision-based deep learning, and monitoring and control in rail engineering.
