Dr Tao obtained his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Wuhan University of Technology in 2016 and 2021, respectively. He studied as a joint Ph.D. student at the University of California, Irvine in 2019-2021. He joined The Hong Kong Polytechnic University as a Postdoctoral Fellow in 2022 and transferred to Research Assistant Professor in 2023. Dr Tao's research interests include mechanical and chemical properties and processes of cementitious materials, molecular simulation, force field development, etc.
