Prof. Xia Yong’s Team Helps Set Up China’s First National Observation and Research Station at Mega Bridge

The research team consisting of Prof. Xia Yong, Prof. Zhu Songye and Dr Dong You helps establish a new national observation and research station for the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB), one of 69 national stations approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology in Oct 2021.

Being led by the HZMB Authority, the new research station will focus on field monitoring of material corrosion, marine environment and hydraulics, and structural safety.
