China Holiness Church Living Spirit College
A group of 30 students from China Holiness Church Living Spirit College visited CEE on 26 March 2024 (Tuesday). The departmental visit was carried out in collaboration with CEE research team, whose project, “Environment and Conservation Fund Clean Air Education Programme: Big Hands Hold Small Hands, Protect the Blue Sky Together”, aims at educating youths about the significance of clean air and air quality improvement.
Dr Andy Y.F. Leung, Associate Head of CEE, introduced the admission information of BEng (Hons) Scheme in Civil Engineering and Sustainable Development and the recent developments of the civil engineering industry to the group. The students also participated in the Air Purifier DIY workshop and learnt to make their own air purifiers. This experience raised their awareness on environmental sustainability.
The visit ended with laboratory tours to our Air Pollution Laboratory and Structural Engineering Research Laboratory, where the latest technology and equipment were demonstrated to the students. They found the visit fruitful and interesting.
