Dr Tony Sze Being Invited to Speak on TVB’s News Programme

Dr Tony Sze, Associate Professor of CEE, was invited by TVB News to speak on ‘’A Closer Look’’ (時事多面睇) (TVB News Ch.83)  on 7 March 2024 (Thursday) in the episode titled “Tram Stop Have No Stop?!”.

In Hong Kong, some tram stops do not have a pedestrian refuge. Passengers must get on and off the trams in the middle of traffic. Safe and accessible tram stop design is a major concern. The discussion by Dr Sze covers road safety issues from the viewpoints of drivers, passengers and professionals, particularly with regard to effective measures that can reduce risks.
