Dr. Jiongyi ZHU
Biography
Dr. Zhu is currently a Lecturer in Shanghai University, China. He joined the CNERC in April 2019 as a Postdoctoral Fellow in PolyU. He received his Ph.D degree in Civil Engineering from PolyU in January 2019. His research interest is in structural behaviour of octagonal hollow steel tubes, octagonal concrete filled steel tubes, FRP-confined concrete columns, constitutive model of confined concrete. He has research experience in experimental investigations on steel tubular stub columns, concrete filled steel tube stub columns and FRP-confined concrete stub columns under uniaxial compression and numerical investigations on finite element analysis of tubular steel members, concrete filled steel tubes and FRP confined concrete columns.
