Biography
Phyllis joined the CNERC as a PhD student in September 2021. Her research area is about ductile fracture of high-strength steels and its applications on welded connections. Phyllis received her BEng degree in Civil Engineering from Hebei University of Engineering in 2018, and MSc degree in Civil Engineering from Tianjin University in 2021. Currently, she is working on the true stress-strain characteristic and non-uniformity of stress and strain at the neck of the steel tensile coupon. In her spare time, Phyllis enjoys playing the Chinese instrument Guzheng.
