Optical Frequency Domain Reflectometry (OFDR) interrogator

The laboratory is equipped with a high-definition optical frequency domain reflectometry (OFDR) interrogator. The OFDR equipment is able to monitor two continuous dynamic strain profiles simultaneously, with maximum frequency up to 250 Hz, and spatial resolution down to 0.65 mm. The maximum sensing length per channel is 100 m.
