Summary
Founded 35 years ago, Alisan Fine Arts was one of the first professionally run galleries in Hong Kong and has been a pioneer in the field of Chinese contemporary art and new ink art.
As it celebrates its 35th anniversary, Alisan Fine Arts will be presenting a large-scale exhibition at the Hong Kong Central Library with a curated selection of 35 works by 35 critically acclaimed artists. To name just a few, Zao Wou-ki 趙無極, Chu Teh-chun 朱德群, Chao Chung-hsiang 趙春翔, Walasse Ting 丁雄泉, Lui Shou-kwan 呂壽琨, Fang Zhaoling 方召麐, Wang Tiande 王天德, Wei Ligang 魏立剛 and Gao Xingjian 高行健.
Mr Tang Hoi-chiu, former Chief Curator of the Hong Kong Museum of Art, will lead this free guided tour to enlighten participants about the beauty and significance of the 35 paintings exhibited at this sumptuous feast of art. Mr Tang has curated a great number of exhibitions of both Chinese and Western art. He has also served as adjudicator and nominator for local and international art competitions.
