Research Overview
My research interests include teaching English, Academic Writing and English for Specific Purposes through Creative Writing, Popular culture and gamification. Of particular interest is the use of macro-memes to support English as a Second Language education.
My most recent research interests lie in the field of e-learning, creative writing and using popular culture in the classroom. I have been a part of several projects that focused on developing innovative digital resources and online platforms that enhance the educational experience, including apps, micro-modules or online classes. I have also explored pedagogical methods and curriculum development aimed at improving students' language proficiency, both written and oral. I am passionate about promoting writing excellence in students. This involves not only academic writing but also creative and professional writing. My research seeks to develop strategies and curricular frameworks that cultivate effective written communication and the ability to articulate ideas persuasively.
