Admitted to BA(Hons) in English Studies for the Professions in 2017

I’ve never thought about going abroad when I was studying in my secondary school. However, after PolyU staff visited our school with their presentation about The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, its educational system, student life, I was really interested in it. And I was so glad to be admitted to the Faculty of Humanities with entry scholarship!

A few months later, we, a group of 17 Kazakh freshmen from different cities came to Hong Kong with energy and positive mind. Then our student life here started with Orientation programme week, meeting with our Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Hong Kong, mega BBQ evening, welcome party for host family scheme and PolyU entry scholarship award ceremony for non-local students. Now we are happy to be a student of one the best Asian universities—The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

I want to wish you all the best at the coming exams. Be strong, work hard and trust yourself! We will be glad to see fresh-minded Kazakh students next year, so come and join us!
