CAS AMSS-PolyU Joint Laboratory

On April 3, 2024, the CAS AMSS-PolyU Joint Laboratory of Applied Mathematics achieved a remarkable Grade "A" rating in the sixth RGC-CAS evaluation exercise for joint laboratories.

This evaluation, conducted by the Research Grants Council (RGC) and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), assessed a total of 30 joint laboratories. As a Grade "A" laboratory, we will be granted funding amounting to RMB 6M, in addition to HK$3.75M, over the course of the next five years.

2024年4月3日，研資局與中科院公佈了第六次聯合實驗室評估結果，中科院數學與系統科學研究院—香港理工大學應用數學聯合實驗室在是次評估中獲得了「優秀」評級。

這次評估共有三十所聯合實驗室參與，應用數學聯合實驗室獲評為最高的「優秀」級別。研資局和中科院將向每所獲得「優秀」評級的聯合實驗室撥款600萬人民幣及375萬港幣，作為未來5年的科研經費。
