Studying BSc (Hons) in Food Safety and Technology at PolyU has been an amazing and unforgettable experience in my life. Throughout this journey, I have gained expertise in nutrition, microbiology, analytical chemistry and biochemistry, empowering me to offer a more professional perspective on food-related matters. Additionally, the abundance of internship opportunities provided me with the chance to develop practical skills through conducting my own research project. Under the guidance of my supervisors, Dr Zhao and Prof. Wong, and with the support of senior students, I had the opportunity to explore my personal interests, ultimately paving a clear path for my future endeavors.
Beyond acquiring specialized knowledge, my four years in this department have also fostered a sense of belonging and support from those around me. Whenever faced with difficulties, the understanding and helpfulness from the professors have been truly touching. Furthermore, the amiable fellowship among my classmates has nurtured a great sense of comfort and happiness within me.
在理大就讀食品科技與食物安全 (榮譽)理學士課程是我人生中一段奇妙而難忘的經歷。期間,我學習了營養學、微生物學、分析化學和生物化學等方面的大量專業知識。此外,理大給予我大量研究機會,讓我能夠開展自己的實驗項目。在我的導師趙博士及黃教授的指導及高年級同學的支持下,我探索了個人興趣,並為我的事業逐漸找到未來發展方向。
除了提升專業能力,在學系的四年時間也培養了我對同儕的歸屬感。每當我遇到困難時,老師們和同學們的理解和幫助總是讓我感動不已。此外,我與同學的友好情誼更令我感受到身邊人對我的溫暖。
