Ir Tang Wai-keung supports occupational therapy education

5 Jul 2018

On 5 July, PolyU held an appreciation luncheon to express its gratitude to Ir Tang Wai-keung (second from right) and the Tang’s family for a generous donation of HK$1 million to support occupational therapy education. PolyU President Prof. Timothy W. Tong (second from left) received the donation from Ir Tang, Miss Karen Tang (first from right) and Miss Vivian Tang (first from left) on behalf of the University and thanked the Tang’s family for their long-standing support to Department of Rehabilitation Sciences.

The donation will be used to support the Cynthia Tang Memorial Scholarship, which was set up by the Tang’s family in 2005 to commemorate the late Mrs Cynthia Tang and has benefited over 80 occupational therapy students over the years.
