On 28 March, PolyU held an appreciation luncheon to express its gratitude to Sin Wai Kin Foundation for the generous donation to support the development of Chinese Humanities education. PolyU Council Chairman Dr Lam Tai-fai (Picture 1, first from left) and PolyU Foundation Chairman Dr Katherine Ngan (first from right) presented a souvenir to Dr David Sin Wai-kin (middle), Chairman of Sin Wai Kin Foundation on behalf of the University and thanked Dr Sin’s staunch support to PolyU.
The donation will be used to set up “The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Sin Wai Kin Chinese Humanities Development Fund” to promote the learning, academic exchange and research in the areas of Chinese culture, language, history and philosophy.
