Prof HU Xiangen, Director of the Institute for Higher Education Research and Development (IHERD) went on a tour within the United States to explore collaboration and connection opportunities in June 2024.
Prof John SABATINI, Distinguished Research Professor of The University of Memphis and a former highly productive researcher in reading comprehension at Educational Testing Service (ETS), and his project team was visited for the possibility to collaborate on adult reading comprehension projects. This potential partnership could benefit language development in the University.
Prof Art GRAESSER, Emeritus Professor of The University of Memphis was also visited to discuss the possibility to play a key role in future development of IHERD.
Dr Benjamin D. NYE, Director of Learning Sciences at USC Institute for Creative Technologies was reached for the potential collaboration on and his support for signature events of the University.
These interactions and discussion not only highlight PolyU’s dedication to advancing higher education research, but also signify the importance of fostering partnerships and collaborations in the academic community.
