Congratulations to Dr Julia CHEN, Senior Fellow and the Director of the Educational Development Centre, on her eminent appointment as the Chair of the Hong Kong Teaching Excellence Alliance (HKTEA) with effect from October 2024.
The HKTEA was initiated and is funded by the Hong Kong University Grants Committee (UGC). The Alliance aims to be a platform for UGC Teaching Award Fellows, who are current and past awardees of the UGC Teaching Award, to play a sustained role collectively in promoting teaching excellence in higher education.
Under Dr CHEN’s leadership, we are certain that the HKTEA will reach new heights, bringing invaluable benefits to the UGC sector and beyond.
