Prof HU Xiangen, DoIHERD, was honoured to accept invitations to speak at seminars hosted by School of Hotel and Tourism Management, School of Nursing and Department of English and Communication on 21 May 2024, 20 July 2024 and 9 September 2024.
During the seminars, Prof HU was generous in sharing with members of PolyU his expertise in the field of learning sciences and how technological advances could improve disciplinary teaching and learning while keeping an eye on the potential risks of abusing Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI).
The attendees were inspired by his forward-looking perspectives, and actively engaged in the seminars.
