FLEXERGY Lab aims to enhance the flexibility and resilience of urban energy systems through data-driven analytics, optimization models, and decision-making tools. The lab focuses on renewable energy integration, demand response, smart electric vehicle (EV) charging, and building energy efficiency. Its research topics include EV charging characterization and grid impact analysis, vehicle-to-grid integration for grid flexibility and resilience, data-driven analytics and AI-based techniques for smart grids, smart energy-efficient and grid-interactive buildings, and demand-side management and flexibility enhancement.
