JRCMI and ASCE Greater China Section successfully co-organized a one-day professional short course “Fatigue Design of Steel Bridges” on 17 May 2024. Prof. Yong Xia of PolyU, Prof. Xiaolin Zhao of PolyU, Dr Yin Chen of Jinan University, Dr. Jie Liu of Nanjing Forestry University and Ms. Tian Lu of PolyU delivered lectures covering fundamental material science related to the fatigue of steel, basic theory and procedures for fatigue damage evaluation, design aspects on fatigue of steel bridges, and fatigue damage strengthening methods.
海洋基础设施联合研究中心与ASCE大中华分会于2024年5月17日成功联合举办了为期一天的“钢桥梁疲劳设计”专业课程。香港理大大学夏勇教授、香港理大大学赵小林教授、暨南大学陈英博士、南京林业大学刘杰博士及香港理大大学卢田女士就钢材疲劳的基础材料科学、疲劳损伤评估的基本理论及程序、钢桥的疲劳设计及疲劳损伤加固方法等进行了讲座。
