Family Cube is an interactive device with virtual support to provide diverse channels for family members who live in different places to share daily life experiences with each other. Statistics shown that more than 50% of the families in Mainland China are "empty nest", which means the younger generations are living far away from their elderly members. Family Cube helps to strengthen the relationship and connection among the different generations.

Through Family Cube, which consists of a physical cube and a smartphone app, young people are able to send photos, videos, and audio files from their smartphones to their elderly family members. The elderly are able to see these contents instantly and give feedback by sending voice message or knocking on the cube. The Cube is also designed with user-friendly features for easy use by the elderly.
