Thunders Ltd.
Thunders Ltd. consists of a team of postgraduates from biomedical engineering and neuroscience backgrounds. The company designs and manufactures specialised brain stimulation systems (including hardware, software, viral particles, protocols, services, etc.) utilising optogenetic or sonogenetic technologies, for the purpose of facilitating neuroscience research and treating Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and other brain disorders/ dysfunctions.
The product achieves neuron -selective and minimally invasive/ non-invasive brain stimulation via light or ultrasound, enabling personalised and accurate manipulation of specific types of neurons.
