Structural design and consultancy firms, contractors, and government regulators are the company's target  customer. Currently, they rely on highly complex general purpose finite element programs to study the behaviour of structures in fire. This requires highly-trained and experienced engineers and can only tackle a small number of fire scenarios thus leading to sub-optimal designs both in terms of fire safety and cost. The company's software will enable our target customers to reduce design and fire protection costs and produce more robust design solutions more quickly.
