Momutex Limited

Momutex Ltd develops a pineapple peeling machine with feed rollers, scraping rollers and sawtooth rollers to maximize automatic retention of all fibres. Then design the alkali heat treatment process to effectively control the residual glue rate of PALF to adapt the fibre to different application products. Being limited by unstable and time-consuming technical barriers, PALF could only be rarely used and little known. They propose an innovative and efficient fibre extraction method to extend the development of PALF from leaf to textiles in different industries as well as to integrate the traditional pineapple farming economy. High utilization of this sustainable agro-waste will not only provide PALF a second life but also decrease the environmental pollution of leaves incineration, which will benefit the strategic goal of carbon neutrality. Specifically, it first aims to upgrade the traditional scrapping machine for achieving a higher PALF yield. Then a systematic database on the compositions and properties of PALF will be established to expand the potential application value of PALF.
