Impact AI Hong Kong Limited

Hong Kong faces a shortage of Sign Language Interpreters, due to which interpreters need to be booked weeks in advance and may be financially inaccessible. This leads to a feeling of social exclusion for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. We are building a Generative Sign Language Avatar that can take any Chinese text and translate it to a 3D avatar mimicking the corresponding HKSL gesture. This solution can help meet the urgent unmet demands for non-essential scenarios and make time for registered interpreters to focus on high-priority cases of translation such as court proceedings, government press conferences, or conferences.
