Nu-torque yarn technology is a patented PolyU innovative technology, which is successfully developed to obtain a singles ring yarn of low twist and residual torque with high strength. After approved, this technology reaches the international leading level. It not only increases the productivity and reduces power consumption and cost, but also greatly improve the product quality, such as extra-soft hand feel, no steaming used, low fabric skewness and pilling. These advantages on the yarn production and fabric are accepted by textile companies. The aim of this startup is to commercialize this technology and then provide nu-torque attachments and related products. It will cooperate with other textile companies to build the production chain involving this technology to develop high value-added products according to customer’s requirements. The developed nu-torque attachment and products are its main products in its company.
