Nature based solutions are approaches that harness the power of nature to address a variety of societal and environmental challenges These solutions emphasize the integration of natural processes and ecosystems into the planning, design, and management of landscapes, infrastructure, and cities. Many cities around the world are facing a variety of challenges, especially amidst the global climate change Nature based solutions for urban infrastructure can offer a wide range of benefits, including ecosystem restoration, climate change mitigation and adaptation, water and air quality improvement, urban heat island reduction, and enhancement of human well being. These solutions are widely recognized for their potential to create more sustainable, resilient, and livable cities.
