May 2019 - PolyU joins the National Research Institute of Health and Medical Big Data of Sun Yat-sen University as a council unit
Chinese Health Information and Big Data Association and Sun Yat-sen University have established the National Research Institute of Health and Medical Big Data of Sun Yat-sen University in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to step forward the innovative cooperation among Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, to build a platform to share health data resources for research and applications.
PolyU as one of the Council members, was invited to attend the preparatory meeting for the establishment of the Council on 20 May, and the opening ceremony of the National Research Institute on 25 May, to jointly foster the development of research in health big data and application in the Greater Bay Area.
