I first completed my bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, before receiving a master’s degree in exercise science. This is my first year studying for a PhD at PolyU.
I had worked as a physiotherapist at a private clinic. My work experience across different settings has inspired me to conduct basic research with the potential of improving physiotherapy practice in the future.
My research is about the effectiveness of exercise in children with scoliosis and how muscle properties can predict curve progression.
Through the research, I hope we can provide more evidence-based information and guidelines to clinicians and the general population concerning the conservative management of spine structural changes in children with scoliosis.
