Tianxiang FAN is a Ph.D. Student supervised by Prof Amy Fu, Dr Julie Li, and Dr Zhaohua Zhu. He received his bachelor’s degree in clinical medicine from Fujian Medical University and his master’s degree in orthopedic surgery from Southern Medical University, where he was a research assistant for one year. He has research experience in clinical studies and animal studies for knee osteoarthritis. His research has been published in Osteoarthritis and Cartilage, Arthritis Research and Therapy, Journal of Clinical Medicine, and European Radiology.
Tianxiang’s research focuses on developing a smart estimation technique to estimate the KOA phenotypes in patients with early-stage KOA and recommends an optimal Light Emitting Diode (LED) targeted therapy.
