My name is Huang Quting, and I am from mainland China. I received my master’s degree in biomedical engineering from Sichuan University, focusing on lower-limb kinematics research. Since I want to further investigate human motion by analysing the underlying neural mechanism during movement, I came to RS to continue my research. My main research interest is to investigate simultaneously motor performance and brain activity in children with developmental coordination disorder (DCD), and find out the correlates between motor output and neural control. Through this study, I want to figure out the neural mechanism underlying the poor motor performance of children with DCD. This knowledge will help to deepen the current understanding of DCD, and provide new foundations for more effective evidence-based rehabilitation.
