【#WeArePolyU】“I was determined to complete my Work-Integrated Education (WIE) abroad. It was a frustrating yet rewarding experience.” Gerald could not remember how many hotels he had already approached before finally confirmed an internship opportunity from the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park in Australia. He treasured the internship experience in Australia where he gained hands-on involvement in handling accounts and managing requests of clients. The six-month work in the Sales and Marketing Department has broadened his horizons and enriched his knowledge of the hotel business.
