Specifically, he explores the evolution of magnetism and magnetotransport behaviour in perovskite oxide with variations of microstructure, chemical doping, and electrical modulation of charge carriers. Recently he also works on the spin-Hall magnetoresistive behaviour in heavy-metal/magnetic insulator structures. Such studies permit the development of next-generation multi-functional magnetic devices for sensing and memory applications.
