(PCT/ SG2017/050365) Dr LI Mingjie Assistant Professor Research Overview My researches focus on: (1) Developing the novel low-dimensional semiconductor materials (e.g. quantum dots, quantum wells, 2D materials, etc.) and related devices for new-generation light-harvesting and lasing applications (e.g. new- type of solar cells, photodetectors, laser, etc.). (2) Charge carrier dynamics/energy transfer mechanisms, linear/non-linear optical properties, and novel photophysics in light-harvesting and emission/lasing systems investigated by ultrafast laser spectroscopies.
