Focus areas: (1) the roles of probiotics in the gut and their application on the prevention of metabolic disease; (2) microbiota of breastmilk and infant gut; (3) effect of food and environmental contaminants on the gut microbiota. We are also working on the development of antibacterial fabrics for healthcare use.
