Abstract
Since November 2022, every conversation in higher education has involved ChatGPT and its impact on all aspects of teaching and learning. This panel explores several pertinent questions relevant to the GenAI era:

1. Assessment is a big problem, particularly for humanities discipline, like essay type of assessment, people talk about redesigning assessment, apart from interviewing, proctor exams and more innovative approaches?
2. How can higher education institutions stay ahead of technological advancements and ensure their curricula remain relevant?
3. What emerging trends in AI do you foresee having the most significant impact on higher education in the near future?
4. In 15 years, what do you think higher education institutions will look like/should look like?
