Growing up with a passion for languages made me consider carefully when choosing a program to study. The BA programme in English and Applied Linguistics has proved that the Department of English and Communication isn’t just a place where you study languages, it is an inclusive community where you can find supportive professors and experience practical courses. Throughout the years, I have developed solid communication skills that enable me to cooperate well with people, and I’ve also developed a linguistic foundation which will be useful for pursuing a postgraduate degree in the future.
