12th East Asia Forum on Humanities
Research & Scholarly Activities
Led by the Dean (FH) Prof. Li Ping, members of the Faculty of Humanities joined the Twelfth East Asia Forum on Humanities (EAFH-12) from November 20 to 21 November 2020, hosted by the National Taiwan University online.
Faculty Dean Prof. Li Ping meets with team leaders from other universities and chairs a session at EAFH-12.
The forum, themed “Paradigm Shift: Interaction and Integration among East Asian Cultures”, provided an invaluable opportunity for FH members to present their research and exchange ideas with some remarkable scholars in the fields. It also strengthened the academic relationships with our counterparts in East Asia. Other participating partner universities included Hanyang University (Korea), Nankai University (China), Tsinghua University (China) and Waseda University (Japan). Member universities take turn to host the annual EAFH and the next EAFH will be held at the Tsinghua University in 2021.
Members from the Department of Chinese Culture present their research papers at the forum.
