FH MOOC Nominated as 2020 edX Prize Finalist

Dr Jack Chun recently updated the content of his MOOC “Success: Practical Thinking Skills” to help learners address the challenges of COVID-19.

FH MOOC “Success: Practical Thinking Skills” (Project Leader: Dr Jack Chun of CBS) is a finalist for the fifth annual edX Prize for Exceptional Contributions in Online Teaching and Learning. The edX Prize celebrates the contributions and innovations of teachers in the edX community, and amplifies the powerful role that online education at scale plays in the transformation of education today.

The MOOC introduces interesting philosophical theories of success, creative problem-solving skills and moving success stories. Different “entry points” such as comic videos, animations, poll questions and even a tailor-made micro-movie have been designed to encourage participants to become active learners.
