Abstract
How do ageing and cognitive decline affect language behavior? Answers to this question may help us meet the urgent challenges posed by an ageing world by detecting early onsets of pathology. We will briefly discuss several topics in this area, including the use of EEG and MRI as measures of biological age, and the relations between language acquisition and language atrophy.
