The International Conference on Teaching and Learning Standard Chinese and Cantonese as a Second Language (TCCSL International Conference 2024), hosted by the Chinese Language Centre (CLC), attracted 116 onsite participants and over 500 online attendees from around the world. The Conference focused on research and teaching in the fields of Standard Chinese and Cantonese as a second language. It explored current and trending academic topics, providing a platform for scholars and educators to exchange ideas, collaborate, and enhance their professional development. Additionally, the event celebrated the 25th anniversary of the CLC, bringing together both new and old friends.
