Not only has he proposed new methods and explored their theoretical properties, he has also made some scientific discoveries in many large-scale real data applications. He has handled huge database, such as UK Biobank, Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) and Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study. His research papers have appeared in high impact journals, such as Annals of Statistics, Human Brain Mapping and Human Genomics.
