Award Presentation Ceremony

The award presentation ceremony of the Secondary School Mathematics and Science Competition 2017 organized by the Faculty of Applied Science and Textiles (FAST) of PolyU drew to a successful close with a total of 192 medals presented to 151 contestants at the Jockey Club Auditorium of the PolyU campus on June 30.

With the aim of fostering secondary school students' interests in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, the Competition was held on Apr 30 and May 1 earlier this year. Over 60% of secondary schools (302 schools) joined the competition with nearly 11,000 entries to the four subjects, making it one of the most significant mathematics and science competitions for secondary schools in Hong Kong.
