New Identity of Faculty of Science

The Faculty of Applied Science and Textiles (FAST) has been renamed the Faculty of Science (FS) with effect from 1 July 2022. To mark this special moment, an opening ceremony was held on 4 July with the senior management of PolyU officiating, including Prof. Jin-Guang Teng, President; Prof. Wing-tak Wong, Deputy President and Provost; and Prof. Kwok-yin Wong, Vice President (Education). They were joined by Prof. Wong Wai-yeung, Raymond, Dean of the Faculty of Science, in the opening ceremony. Associate and Assistant Deans, Heads of Department and members of the Faculty also attended the ceremony to witness the occasion, hoping the Faculty will continue to scale new heights in the years ahead.

理學院新身份

應用科學及紡織學院於2022年7月1日起重新命名為理學院。為慶祝學院正式易名，學院於7月4日舉行了開幕典禮，並由理大校長滕錦光教授、常務及學務副校長黃永德教授、副校長（教學）黃國賢教授以及理學院院長黃維揚教授擔任主禮嘉賓。理學院的副院長、助理院長和學系系主任以及一眾理學院成員亦一同出席，見證這個喜悦時刻，祝願學院未來繼續再創高峰。
