The Department of Food Science and Nutrition (FSN) offers a range of opportunities for students to work on campus and deliver support to the Faculty. Participating in the PolyU Summer Institute for secondary students has been my honour. In this role, I was responsible for conducting lab tours in FSN and organizing games for visiting students. This involvement allowed me to share my university experience at PolyU and provided me with valuable insights about other departments within the same Faculty.

One of the most memorable experiences during my university study was participating in an exchange program offered by FSN. During my exchange at the National University of Singapore, I gained in-depth knowledge related to advanced chemical analytical techniques, ecology and cellular pathways. Although the academic pressure was heavy in Singapore, I joined the volleyball club to help relieve stress. I was also blessed to receive care from some of the professors in FSN during my exchange programme.


食品科學及營養學系致力為學生提供不同種類的校園工作機會，並藉此讓他們回饋學院。我很榮幸能夠參與理大為中學生舉辦的暑期學院，負責帶領中學生參觀學系的實驗室，並為他們設計遊戲活動。當中，我分享了我在理工大學的生活，並進一步認識到學院裡其他學系的資訊。

另外，我在大學生活中最難忘的經歷，是參加了學系所舉辦的交流生計劃。在新加坡國立大學交流期間，我學到更多與先進化學分析技術、生態學及細胞相關的知識。雖然在新加坡的學習壓力不少，我亦忙裡抽閒加入了排球隊以紓解壓力。另外，在交流時，我亦很慶幸獲得不少來自學系教授們的關心和鼓勵。
