PolyU Science Seminar Series on Knowledge Transfer

The Faculty is dedicated to promoting knowledge transfer and motivating colleagues to initiate their own entrepreneurial ventures in order to foster cooperation and the sharing of knowledge between the academic and industrial sectors. Therefore, the Faculty introduced the PolyU Science Seminar Series on Knowledge Transfer, where experts from diverse fields will share their experiences in translating research breakthroughs into revolutionary products, services, and solutions.

In collaboration with the Knowledge Transfer and Entrepreneurship Office (KTEO), the Faculty successfully organized the highly anticipated inaugural seminar on Knowledge Transfer on 20 March. The seminar revolved around the theme of "Tips for Embarking on the Journey of Entrepreneurship" and featured a diverse range of topics, including valuable insights on PolyU funding schemes for entrepreneurship, comprehensive guidelines for establishing academic-led start-ups, and an in-depth exploration of patent issues.

學院致力於推進知識轉移計劃，鼓勵同事開辦新創公司，以加强學術界和業界之間的合作和交流。 因此，學院推出了理大科學知識轉移研討會系列，邀請來自不同領域的專家分享他們將研究成果轉化為革命性產品、服務和解決方案的經驗。

學院與知識轉移及創業處（KTEO）合作，於3月20日成功舉辦了備受期待的首個研討會。研討會以「踏上創業之旅的訣竅」為主題，涵蓋多個主題，包括大學對創業的不同資助計劃、成立公司的程序與規條，以及專利等範疇。
