Faculty Chair Professor Inaugural Lectures

Our Faculty proudly co-hosted the Seoul National University-PolyU Bilateral Workshop on Flexible Organic and Perovskite Electronics on 19-20 July 2024. This dynamic event gathered over 80 participants, with 20 distinguished speakers from institutions including Hanyang University, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Seoul National University, Yonsei University, Hong Kong Baptist University and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

The workshop featured insightful presentations and discussions on cutting-edge research in flexible organic and perovskite electronics. Participants explored topics such as organic semiconductors, which offer unique properties like mechanical flexibility and low-cost production and perovskites, known for their potential in solar cells and LEDs. These discussions offered valuable networking opportunities for researchers and scientists. It also strengthened the collaborative ties between PolyU and Seoul National University, paving the way for future breakthroughs and innovations in this rapidly evolving field.

首爾大學-香港理工大學柔性有機和鈣鈦礦電子雙邊工作坊

香港理工大學理學院於2024年7月19日至20日，聯同首爾大學舉辦了一場充滿活力的雙邊工作坊，探討柔性有機和鈣鈦礦電子的尖端發展。此次活動吸引了80多名與會者，包括來自漢陽大學、韓國科學技術院（KAIST）、首爾大學、延世大學、香港浸會大學及香港理工大學的20位傑出講者。

工作坊中，專家學者就柔性有機和鈣鈦礦電子的前沿研究成果進行深入剖析和交流。與會者探討了有機半導體的獨特特性，如機械柔性和低成本生產，以及鈣鈦礦在太陽能電池和LED領域的潛力。這些討論為他們提供了寶貴的跨國交流平台，促進學術合作，並深化香港理工大學與首爾大學的密切夥伴關係。這次合作必將為這個蓬勃發展的領域，開啟更多創新突破的可能。
