Advocating the Green Deck

PolyU has been advocating the construction of Green Deck over the Hung Hom Cross Harbour Tunnel Toll Plaza to deal with various environmental and social problems such as poor air quality, overloaded footbridge, poor connectivity within the district and the lack of open space.

PolyU regularly runs activities to provide information on the proposed Green Deck to its students and staff. An exhibition showing the proposal and studies of Green Deck was organized during 25 February – 31 March 2107 in Pao Yue-kong Library. Two seminars were presented in March by Mr. Alex Lui, the Chairman of PolyU Green Deck Task Force.
